Advocating to protect Medicaid for all Nebraskans
Why Your Voice Matters
America’s Congress is negotiating a new budget and considering significant cuts to Medicaid. Congressional committees in the House and Senate are meeting over the next few weeks and will decide how significant the cuts will be. What will be cut – and how much – remains to be seen, but we can see the burden will shift to each state to decide what programs to cut and who will be most hurt.
Medicaid allows almost 80 million Americans to obtain healthcare. The time is now to use your voice. It is critical that we let Congress know Medicaid must be preserved for all the people it helps.
